Capture Me Studios will no longer be doing individual photography to focus our efforts on building our movie and art studio. We have several projects planned and encourage everyone to stay tuned!!! I was fortunate to team up with Kate about 3 films ago. Kate entered "Signing Santa" in the Best of the Northwest competition under the Local Attractions category and it won! This film features a program put on by the deaf community once a year and can be viewed off of our films page.
UNWRAP ONLY TODAY
Presents in boxes with shiny red bows
All calling my name with insatiable prose
I run to each box and squeeze what's inside
I shake it then peer into a loose slit on the side
I want all the presents of
today
tomorrow
and more
I want all the presents left in the garage next door
and waving at walkers on the trail. Local artist Carrie Ziegler who donated half of her time to the project, paints on the Fones Road Mural on the back of the Olympic Moving & Storage building Fones Rd. & Poplar SE, Olympia WA. This was all started by Henry Hollweger's donation to the WTGA (Woodland Trail Greenway Association) from his Shine Award. Henry's $300 donation was quickly matched by Kris O'Bannon, it snowballed with donations coming in from Jeff Glass, Jack Horton, Don Johnson Tom Robinson donated the paint. Rachel Taylor got volunteers to paint Christopher Harbin donated primer and did the priming. A private donator came in that finally allowed the project to be completed. Matt Shively, born with a degenerative disease that left him partially deaf and with tunnel vision. Now he is totally blind. Before he went totally blind Matt worked on art such as Beauty & The Beast, and The Little Mermaid, back when drawings were done by hand. He always tells me Madam R, you can't let anything stop you!"
